It is used in industry by architects, civil engineers, graphic designers, city planners and many other professionals. In mechanical engineering, it is used to create manufacturing processes as well as to design motor parts, robots and other innovative objects. This application allows sharing of files with multiple people, no matter how large the file. It can be done in two types of wiring diagram and a surface model diagram for use in the manufacturing, assembling and repairing of parts. It is developed and marketed by Autodesk. It is also available as mobile as well as web apps. It was supported by 750 training centers worldwide in the year 1994. Its first release only use entities such as polygons, circles, lines, arcs, and text to construct complex objects. Initially AutoCAD was derived from a program called Interact, which was written in a proprietary language. It is a computer aided design as well as drafting software with which we can create precise 2-D and 3-D drawings.
